I remember the first time I learned about La Prairie.
I was working for WCBS in New York, and I was doing a story about anti-aging treatments.
After we taped our story at the spa, I walked away with some La Prairie caviar eye cream.
I literally thought I had died and gone to beauty heaven.
Fast forward, um, like 10 years when I actually need anti-aging…
And, once again I have the wonderful opportunity to try their products.
This time, it’s the Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Transforming Cream Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30
That’s a lengthy name which essentially means…it’s a 3-in-1 cream.
1) SKINCARE
2) SUNSCREEN
3) COLOR CORRECTOR
The cream also comes with a slightly angled brush for an airbrush-like application.
I am a total foundation snob and I can tell you the La Prairie finish is FLAWLESS.
You do not see the foundation. I checked in super BRIGHT light.
It feels SO silky against your skin.
It is oil-free.
And, the coverage is WONDERFUL.
(I’m wearing the color, “rose.”)
I can’t speak for the “age-delaying” component.
I haven’t used it long enough to know.
But, I will definitely keep you posted.
There is one downside, though, it’s quite pricey at $195 for the 1.0 OZ bottle.
But, if you are looking for a time saver that gives you a flawless finish, with the skincare and sunscreen built in…
This is PERFECT!
I wanted to give you an interesting before and after perspective.
Look at this picture (below).
On the left side, I have on the La Prairie Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Transforming Cream
On the right… nothing.
You can see how much brighter and more even my skin looks on the La Prairie side.
You don’t see my sun spots either.

Kinda crazy, right?
It’s pretty awesome.
