Four Casual Outfit Ideas
In today’s video (above), and post (below), I wanted to recreate four go-to uniforms. These are the outfits you throw on… when you’re in a rush… or don’t know what to wear. Having a few uniforms at the ready, will make your life a LOT easier! Your uniform should be something that you feel chic, confident, and sophisticated wearing.

Look #1 | My Uniform
My uniform (above) consists of:
1) a black turtleneck,
2) a pair of jeans,
3) and booties.
This is what I throw on when we’re going to dinner, and I want to be warm, while also chic. I really like this fitted black turtleneck, but you can pick any turtleneck you really love. This pair of jeans by Mother is more of a mom jean. You could go this route, or wear a chic pair of dark wash skinny jeans.
These chic patent leather sock booties by Stuart Weitzman have a modest heel, are super lightweight, and VERY comfortable!

Look #2 | The Coat
The next outfit I wanted to share is basically the same concept. It’s my uniform, but adjusted slightly to highlight this gorgeous coat. It’s no secret that I love coats and jackets. I bought this coat on sale from Club Monaco. Club Monaco makes really classic pieces that always have an edgy twist. I love the print and glam faux fur sleeves on this coat (above) so I built the outfit around the coat.

In this look, I mixed denim, cashmere, and patent leather to create depth.” quote=”When you wear black from head to toe, remember to vary your texture. Look #3 | Casual Weekend
The next look is the winter weekend outfit. On the weekends, we take the kids all over the place. So you have to have go-to looks for your winter weekends. I usually throw on some fitted skinny jeans to give me some shape. Then I wear these Sorel boots that I LOVE because I’m still wearing a heel and look cute but I’m in very functional winter boots. If you haven’t seen my video on must-have winter boots you can watch it here.
Next, pick out any one of your favorite sweaters! Then I throw on the puffer jacket and I’m ready to go. If it’s really cold you can put on mittens, an infinity scarf, a hat, etc.
I have done a video on layering that you can check out here.

Look #4 | Loungewear
I would wear this outfit to hang out in during the evenings, maybe go to sleep in…Annndddd… possibly wear to drop the kids off at the bus stop the following morning.
I like to wear long sleeve shirts because I get chilly, even in our cozy cabin. This long sleeve tee is from Target. For affordable tees, I like Target, Old Navy, and Madewell.
Comfortable sweats are a must! I prefer more fitted options so you still have a shape. These cozy sweats are by Lou & Grey. I love that they have pockets!
