You’ve heard me say it many times before but…a 3rd layer is an important styling trick! A third layer can make you look slimmer, add style, keeps you warmer, etc. Depending on where you live, the light layers will vary for spring. If you live in Texas, a heavy trench, or moto jacket may not be the best option for you. But a sleeveless trench or light cardigan can be the perfect addition to your spring wardrobe. Trench Coat

A classic, trench coat is a must-have… and this trench from Club Monaco is so pretty! A trench so versatile you can wear it with jeans, dresses, skirts, pants, etc.

BTW, I still can’t believe I live here. This is called Lizard Head Pass (about 30 min from my house). It’s along the mountain pass road where the views are just stunning!
Sleeveless Trench

If you already have a classic trench you love, this sleeveless trench is a chic, light layer that’s easy to add to your wardrobe. If you saw my spring trends post, you know that the updated or modern trench is big this spring! This trench is from Target and very affordable! I wore it with this balloon sleeve corset sweater, white AG jeans, and chic Vince Camuto mules. If it’s warmer where you live, you can substitute the sweater for a lightweight long sleeve shirt.
Gold Cardigan

This gold cardigan is a dramatic and gorgeous light layer for spring! This cardigan will keep you looking long and slim. It’s also a great way to break up an all white look.
Moto Jacket
