Petite Office Outfits
You should always dress for the job you want, not necessarily the job you have. I think dressing for success boils down to a few things: confidence, quality, and fit. When you are petite like me (5’4″ and under) finding the perfect fit isn’t always easy.

Look #1 | Pink Jacket, White Pants
How springy and fresh is this look? And, yet SO simple.
This pink blazer is SO great for the office! The pop collar, single button, and fresh color… you will LOVE it! Take note of both the sleeve length and the hemline, they are the ideal length for my petite frame.
Under the jacket, I’m wearing a chic shell with a beautiful, subtle, python print! This is fully lined so you don’t have to worry about a cami or tank underneath.
Jeans
I paired the shell and jacket with the wardrobe must-have…white jeans! These “jeans” look and feel more like pants. The fabric is VERY lightweight. I had to double check the website to make sure they are, in fact, jeans. What I really love about these cropped pants is that they come in petite. With most cropped jeans I order, they fit like normal pants because I’m only 5’4”. But since these are petites…they are ACTUALLY cropped! Imagine that.

Python Accessories
I mean… how pretty are these snake print shoes and clutch!? I’m not sure what I’m more excited about, the python print or the pink! Both of these will work perfectly for the office or pair them with jeans and wear them on date night. If you don’t wear heels, they also come in flats! You can also try the reversible, pink, snake print belt…but maybe not altogether.

Look #2 | Shorts Suit
For those that don’t work in super conservative environments, I think this shorts suit is modern, stylish and fresh! It’s a great way to mix things up! Shorts suits are having a moment in fashion too.
These pink shorts look polished with the pink blazer. The fabric is luxe and structured, but still lightweight. I’m wearing a size 4 petite and they fit perfectly! To finish off the look, I’m wearing the same snake print shell, shoes, and clutch.

Shoot Location | Sequoia National Park
I wanted to share this gorgeous shoot location with you all. You may have noticed on Instagram that we traveled to Sequoia National Park over spring break. I decided to shoot these pretty pastels against the greenery of this spectacular park. This is the grove above with the largest trees in the world. We were all in awe! I shot the look a bit lower in the park across from Tunnel Rock.

White House black market always shows their dress pants w thin belts. Sometimes you wear belts and soMetimes not. Is it yes for dress pants w shirts tucked in and not neCessary for Jeans?
Back in the day we wore belts when there were belt loops.
I love the shorts suits. Wore them all the time years ago but then we wore panty hose too and it looked much better. Will panty hose ever be acceptable again? Most legs look so much better. Especially old legs! Love your work.
I think belts are awesome! Go for it!! Panty hose can work if you find the EXACT RIGHT COLOR. It’s a difficult quest.
What style oF jeans do you suggest for Spring/summer? Iim seeing straight, ankle lengTh but not sure thAt style will work for a 5’3” older woman that DOESN’T wear heels. Suggestions please.
