#1 | Date Night Striped Dress
You may have already noticed this simple and stunning Veronica Beard shirtdress on Instagram. This is one of those dresses you will question the investment, but once you make it… you’ll be psyched you did because you will wear it ALL THE TIME. It’s so versatile and figure flattering. The way it hugs your curves, but still feels casual enough for daytime. For date night, you can wear it with cute espadrille wedges as I did above. Or dress it up even more with heels. If you want to dress it down, you could easily wear sneakers instead. It’s such a versatile, easy dress to wear! Plus, it’s 100% cotton and will keep you cool during the summer.

#2 | Everyday Dress
I find the everyday dresses are actually harder to find and even more important in our wardrobes. You’ll see a TON of them on me this summer because they look cool and keep you cool. And, again… they are SO easy! This dress by Rails… is great for summer! First, it has a smocked waist that helps create a shape. The dress doesn’t just hang in an unflattering way. The tiered skirt is really cute and flattering. This sort of weave material is also very cool and lightweight. And most importantly…it’s a wearable length for busy moms! Just get your steamer ready because clearly this fabric wrinkles. I brought this with me on our Lake Powell road trip. I did not have access to a steamer or iron on a houseboat.

Sneakers
I shared these shoes in a couple of Instagram posts and on YouTube, but haven’t gotten to share them on the blog. They’re by Linea Paolo and come in this super chic metallic color, white, and black. I love the metallic for spring and summer because they’re different. But I also have the white! Since I’m petite, I like a little height…and these are perfect because they’re a platform sneaker! They’re super fashion forward, chic, and modern. And comfortable, of course! They also make edgy wedge sneakers that are super comfy.
