I look like I’m right at home here… right?
I think that’s because… in my heart, NYC is still my home.
But, seriously, how does anyone live there affordably with a family?
I sometimes fantasize about it…
Wandering the upper west side with the kids, popping into The New York Look, stopping by The Natural History Museum, and eating brunch at Sarabeth’s.
And, then I snap out of it, realizing how unpractical it would be.
Like… how could you put a car/booster seat in a taxi?
Or, how would Gage feel about “outdoor space” instead of a big backyard?
And, what about having to put your bike on the elevator?
And there are no bathrooms, like anywhere. Elizabeth seems to have to go potty 18 times a day.
Seriously…it would be hard.
But, for now, if it’s okay with you, I’ll go back to my dream NYC life.

I love the idea of a puff sleeve top peeping out from this sleeveless vest. The vest really highlights that cool detail.
I also love the movement of the vest as you walk. Very dramatic, like… super blogger!
When wearing something a bit more flowy like this sleeveless vest, keep your pants more fitted. Try an ankle trouser or a pair of skinny jeans.
You could also play around with a tailored little black dress.
