Lace Romper | Wear into Fall
I happen to love rompers. What are your thoughts?
I think it depends largely on how comfortable you are with your legs.
Do I love my knees? Absolutely not.
I turned 42 this summer… and I feel like I’m on the clock when it comes to wearing things like this.
I know a lot of you likely feel the same way.
Call it our shorts shelf life! 😉
Finding a romper with sleeves helps a lot because then you have more coverage on top.
This specific romper, I bought during the Nordstrom sale last year, and it is no longer available, unfortunately.
But, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite rompers below that I think will transition well into fall.
One other thought to leave you with…
I think rompers can be VERY sexy.
Consider a romper as an evening alternative.
Kind of like I did last year during New York Fashion Week (below.)
The babe in the picture with me is my sweet friend Heather Anderson, SoHeather.com.
IF the romper is plunging and showing a little too much of “the girls…”
Add a lace cami like I did above.
Or layer a top UNDER the romper (see below).
Bodysuits would work really well for this.
Also, you can always add tights like I did below, to keep your legs covered.
The tights will keep you warmer in the cooler months…
And, keep your line longer.
Layering over the romper is also an option… with a sweater and/or jacket.
