Anti-Aging Serum | Colleen Rothschild Mandelic Acid Radiance Serum
My Pick of the Week or POTW… is the Mandelic Acid Radiance Serum by Colleen Rothschild.
I could really pick a bunch of her products, the “Extreme Recovery Cream,” the “Face Oil,” the “Cleansing Balm” are all among my favorites.
But this one gets top billing right now because I think it’s helped my skin.
I don’t want to overshare, but I’ve been working with a doctor on my hormone and thyroid levels.
I’ve added a LOT of supplements to my day to day and one of them is wreaking havoc on my skin…like giving me some major problem areas… Baaaddd pimples I haven’t seen the likes of since high school.
I think the serum is responsible for returning my skin to a more ‘normal’ state.
I also think it’s improved the texture! And, for those who love scents, it smells wonderful.
What Is In It?
Here’s the scoop about what’s in it.
Mandelic acid is a gentle Alpha Hydroxy Acid.
It exfoliates and breaks down the dead skin cells close to the surface.
I have been using it all over my face, even under my eyes and I can tell you it IS incredibly gentle.
You can also use it everyday, no problem.
I’ve been using mine for a month.
How To Use It
First, you should cleanse your face completely and pat dry or air dry.
Then, apply the serum with a cotton pad or your hands (I prefer my hands).
Give the serum a minute to absorb, then finish off with your favorite moisturizer.
If you have dry skin like me, you may want to give this extreme recovery cream a whirl.
It’s awesome, especially when combined with the facial oil.
BTW, sorry for the scary close up picture (above), but I wanted you to see the texture of my skin.
