I don’t work in an office now, but I did for YEARS.
I remember the anguish in the morning; half asleep, combing through my closet, desperate for clothes to wear.
Usually picking up something that looked like a winner, only to remember I wore it two days ago.
It’s easy to get into a style rut at work…wearing the same outfits, over and over again,
But, adding some modern, new pieces to your wardrobe can easily help you mix it up.
Below are three business casual outfit ideas to help you elevate your office style game!
(and, perhaps your mornings too.)
PUMPS | CULOTTES | BLOUSE | BAG | SUNGLASSES
Outfit #1 | Culottes & Ruffle Top
The first business casual outfit idea… culottes and a ruffled blouse.
These high-waisted, wide leg culottes by Leith are your ‘anything-but-basic’ black pants.
Keep in mind, you really have to show off the tie-waist of these pants…
So you should pair them with tops that are cropped, or thin enough to tuck in (without adding bulk)
The culottes run a little large so size down. I’m wearing an XS.
This Leith ruffled tie neck blouse adds a feminine touch.
(The blouse fits true to size, and I’m wearing a small.)
I suggest heels with these pants, to keep you looking long and tall.

DRESS | PUMPS | BAG | GLASSES | EARRINGS
Outfit #2 | Power Dress
The second business casual outfit idea… a power dress.
Every woman needs a killer dress that makes her feel confident and in control.
Annnnddd, still like a woman. I think we should embrace our femininity in the office.
This blue dress by Tahari is a work wear must-have.
First, it has sleeves.
Second, the color looks great on everyone.
And, third… it is conservative, while also being sexy.
(The dress runs large so size down.)
These suede nude pumps by Sam Edelman fit true to size, and are a great alternative to plain pumps.
The ankle strap and pointy toes are those little details that can add polish and interest to the overall look.

BLAZER | SKIRT | PUMPS | SIMILAR BLOUSE | SUNGLASSES | BAG
Outfit #3 | Pencil Skirt & Blouse
The third business casual outfit idea… a pencil skirt and choker blouse.
I love the asymmetrical buttons on this pencil skirt by Topshop, giving this wardrobe staple a modern twist.
The choker blouse sold out, but I found one that is very similar here that I think you’ll like just as much.
It’s lightweight and perfect for layering under this great Vince Camuto black blazer.
If you don’t already have a classic black blazer, I highly recommend this one.
I finished off the look with some power pumps by Jimmy Choo… a sexy, classic touch.
This luxe-looking, (but affordable) satchel by Brahmin is one of my favorites.
And, a perfect size to carry all your essentials to work. It also has a cross-body strap.
