How To Wear the Fashion Trend: White Boots

One of the white hot trends this season … white boots.
I’m not going to sugar coat it, these boots are tough to wear, and they may feel a little weird at first.
(I think Dallas Cowboy cheerleader flew through my mind.)
But, now that I’ve had the chance to style them… I gotta say… I’m REALLY digging them! I think they are sexy and unique.

And, IF I were going to New York Fashion Week (which sadly, I’m not), these boots would definitely be in my suitcase!

Look #1 | White Blouse + Cropped Jeans

It took some courage to set up my camera in the middle of downtown Telluride, in the middle of the street…
But this last shot was worth it! My camera set up (sans photographer) always elicits some curious glances.

Jeans

You may remember these awesome Frame split hem jeans from the Nordstrom sale.
They frame the boots perfectly (pardon the pun). I also like how they cover up the boots a bit.

Boots

This is the second pair of white boots I ordered (sent first pair back).
I really love the chic almond toe shape, chunky heel and how they are a more modern mid-calf height.
They run true to size.

Top

This top is so pretty, and only $22.
Keep in mind, you have to wear a lace cami or tank underneath.

This is a surprisingly versatile look. Wear it during the day if you have something special going on or out for date night.
It will look like you are bringing your style ‘A game’.

Look #2 | Velvet Top + Jeans

I took these shots (above) by the Telluride Airport. It is one of the most terrifying airports I’ve ever seen.
I have ZERO fear of flying, and I don’t think you’ll ever catch me landing here.

I’m not able to go to New York Fashion Week this fall, but if I were, this is one of the looks I would be wearing!

Top

I LOVE this burn out velvet floral top from Target! It’s ONLY $24!!
I ended up buying a medium so the fit was a bit more loose. I’ll have a Target try on video later this week.

Jeans

These Grlfriend jeans are really flattering, and come in petite! I’m wearing a 26 petite.
Be sure to check out the back pockets (pictured above).
The denim is more stiff and rigid, like old school jeans – FYI.

This look is so versatile (casual, yet polished) you can wear it during the day on weekends, out running errands, or even out to dinner!
The color of these boots will make you look like a trend setter.

Look #3 | All White

I have ALWAYS been a fan of all white. When I worked in an office, I used to wear all white to work about once a month regardless of the season.
When you get the right combination and fabrics, it can look so elegant and expensive (even if it’s not).
I like to mix tones and textures when wearing all white.

I think this would be an elegant and unexpected option for dinner, date night or parties.

These pants have been a heavy hitter for me. I wore them while I was in NYC for fashion week last February.

Turtleneck

This turtleneck is new and affordable ($69). I LOVE the sleeves.
The swiss dot detailing adds a little extra interest to a basic piece.

Bag

This Chloe Nile bag was my first big designer bag purchase. I found a really awesome dupe for less here.
