If you love to cook, I’m sure your kitchen is stocked with so many amazing gizmos and state of the art cooking accoutrements. That’s definitely NOT me. I literally only started cooking when I had kids. Before that, Chris and I lived in New York City… where you could have the most delicious, innovative food delivered directly to your door. There was no incentive to learn to cook.

#1 | Drawer Organizers

If you are a long-time reader, you will not be surprised to learn that one of my top kitchen essentials involves organization. I like to be organized in every way because I want to spend as LITTLE time as possible cooking. Staying organized helps save me time. I love in drawer organizers for your cutlery, sharp knives and other kitchen utensils. These bamboo organizers are quite sturdy, and they look great too!

#2 | Baskets & Bins

I LOVE my pantry baskets!  I mean…LOVE. They look lovely and they keep your pantry looking great and organized. Okay, so now that is two things that involve organization! 😉 I told you I don’t cook.

#3 | Keurig

I bought this new Keurig for the house on eBay and I LOVE it! I used it every morning to make coffee. I’m the only coffee drinker in the house so there is no sense in making a whole pot. I also use it to make tea in the afternoon and evening. I drink a lot of green and camomile tea. The kids use it for hot chocolate!

#4 | Toaster

Another heavy hitter in my kitchen is my 4-slice toaster by KitchenAid. I use this pretty much every day. Typically I make toast for the kids in the morning before school. I also am a huge fan of avocado toast for lunch. (If you want to know more about what I eat and what I don’t eat, you can watch this video.)

#5 | Toaster Oven

This is slightly embarrassing, but I honestly use my Oster toaster oven MORE than I use the actual oven. For real. I’ll throw broccoli in here with olive oil, salt and grated cheese for dinner. I bake chicken breast in the toaster oven. I sometimes buy breaded chicken at the deli in the grocery store, and add a slice of ham and Swiss cheese, to create my very own (super easy) chicken cordon bleu. Toaster ovens are also surprisingly VERY affordable. This one sells on eBay new for only $49!
