Personalized Holiday Cards
Sending out holiday cards is a great way to show you are thinking of someone. It’s also a nice way to share your family updates with those you love. For several years now we’ve had a tradition of sending out holiday cards featuring our Halloween costumes. Our first year we were hillbillies, complete with bad staches and mullets. Another year, we were a Mariachi band. Another we dressed up as the crew from the Gangnam Style video.
This year…we dressed up as cowboys and cowgirls!

Minted.
Creating your personalized holiday card is SOOOO easy on Minted. I actually ordered mine while traveling, on my phone! I certainly don’t recommend that since admittedly I did forget to save my custom stamp changes, and ended up with a few sheets of stamps that say, “The Millers.” But, I’m OVER THE MOON happy with my cards!
Alright, so let’s walk through this very simple process:
How to Create Your Custom Card
1) See on the top left of the image above how it says, “CHOOSE A GREETING”… this will help you narrow your search quite a bit. You can choose a more generic option like “Holiday.” You can also choose, “New Year,” “Christmas” and more. I like a catch all holiday greeting so our card says, “Happiest Holidays.”
2) Next, you can choose your photo style. I always love “Landscape” cards. Portrait is lovely too, but I feel like “Landscape” works best for a family photo.
3) You can narrow down your search even further by delineating price and card shape.
Custom Stamps
How AMAZING is it that you can now order custom stamps?? I use to order special holiday stamps from USPS, but now I can skip that extra step and just order EVERYTHING through Minted. You can even choose your design. P.S. Do NOT make the same mistake I did by ordering my stamps too quickly without properly checking the name. “The Millers” are the default name. Does anyone know some Millers? I can send them my stamps! 😉
Holiday Sale!
Once your cards arrive, you just put them in your envelopes, add stamps and addresses and you are all set. I like to listen to classic holiday music like Frank Sinatra, and get them all done in one sitting, but if you order yours early enough, you can always break it up.
Right now you can save 15 %- 20% by using the code, “BF2018 “. Be sure to take advantage! And, remember to get your order in soon so you can get your cards in the mail on time. The last day to mail your cards so they get to your friends and family before Christmas is December 20th!
