Wearing All-White
I love wearing white during winter. It’s classy, elegant, and something different from the blacks, grays, greens, etc. that we usually wear. It brightens up our day-to-day! I’m sharing a winter white look that’s easy and classic. I’ve also done a post on how to wear a slimming all-white look here.

Easy & Casual Winter White Look
I’d wear this look walking around town, running errands, or picking up the kids. I’m wearing a pair of white cropped bootcut jeans. If you’re not a fan of the baggy jeans trend but want to try a pair of jeans that have a slightly looser fit, this is a great option! I’m wearing a basic white tee under my favorite Veronica Beard leather blazer. It’s mostly sold out but there are still a few sizes left, and I linked another classic white blazer option above. To finish off the look, I’m wearing super comfortable Gola sneakers, gold and pearl statement necklace, and my white Bottega Veneta bag. I love these sneakers because they’re tan and black so they go with pretty much everything. But the lighter tan really looks amazing with this all-white look!
Remember that you probably already own many of the pieces you already need to pull off the winter white look…scrounge through your closet and see what you can put together! And find all of my tips below…
Five Tips for Wearing All White
1) Vary Textures
Varying your textures will give your look depth and keep it from looking too flat and boring.
2) Pick Shades of White That Complement Each Other
We no longer live in a world where color tones and shades have to match perfectly, so just throw that idea out of your mind!! Mixing shades and tones looks sophisticated and luxe.
3) Accessorize
With all white, I LOVE to wear rich brown or tan accessories (like the sneakers above). You can also go with more white (like my handbag) or even a bold color or print pop! The wonderful thing about all-white is… it’s literally a blank canvas. You can accessorize with basically any color.
4) Proportions
If you’re wearing a billowy blouse or oversized cardigan/jacket, make sure that your bottom half is fitted. Proportions and shape are key. I’m wearing slightly looser fitting denim, so I balanced it out with a more tailored jacket on top.
5) Confidence
Lastly, wear it with confidence. As long as you feel good …you’ll look good!

I love wearing white jeans in winter as they look so fresh and smart.I will wear with either black boots and a black jacket or chestnut coloured boots and a similar coloured jersey with a scarf around my neck.
I love your blogs and especially have loved seeing your time in Madrid and how your fashion has evolved. I personally love wearing dresses and always have whereas very few of my friends do.
Anyway keep up the good work. I live in Auckland NZ but am well travelled, not lately due to covid, but love seeing overseas trends and what is relevant for older women.

Those are great styling ideas, Gail! I love that you are wearing what you enjoy. Living abroad, I have once again embraced wearing what lights me up. ~Erin xo
