Refresh Your Home!
A ripped screen door, broken oven, and a coffee maker on the fritz. This is the current state of affairs and repairs at my house. And when it comes to priorities, we all know the coffee maker is numero uno! How about you? Are you looking to update or refresh any of the items in your home? Worn out sheets, pilling bath towels, dinnerware you no longer love…I think getting organized and prioritizing your list is super important. This way, you can establish a budget and start chipping away at your “must-haves”, and “just wants”! So, where do you start? We created this organized, home refresh checklist, broken down by room, and I’m sharing my favorite picks in each category.

Must-Have Home Favorites
Bathroom
I know new towels aren’t the most glamorous purchase ever, but when you have the right set, that are soft and durable, you quickly remember why an upgrade is sometimes necessary! I’m eyeing this set of Ugg Towels for their great value but also because they come in a dark grey. While crisp white towels are lovely for that spa-like vibe, the grey will hide make-up stains and is more practical for my lifestyle (and house of boys). I’m also super excited that the Simple Human mirror has not yet sold out! If you missed it, I wrote a review on why I love mine so much here. If you’ve been thinking about it, at $60 off, this might be the time to pull the trigger!

Bedroom
Sleep is important … so, so important! As I get older, I really prefer a cooling pillow and a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce hair frizz and wrinkles. I love silk but I find after washing, the “silkiness” never seems to last. But with satin, it can be tough to find great quality. This Vegan Satin Pillow (with case) gets great reviews for quality and washability. I’m anxious to give it a try!

Kitchen
I find kitchen towels and utensils are necessary refreshes I tend to make each year. Maybe it’s just me, but neither seems to last too long when it comes to marinara stains!

Tabletop
This Lazy Susan (I’d love one, but I’m not one!) is really versatile. You can use it in a pantry for storing spices or smaller goods with easy access. Or leave it out on your counter with flowers, olive oil, and a candle. It doubles as a serving piece for condiments on your table or a pretty charcuterie board.

Home DĂ©cor & Extras
This category is my favorite. I just received these coasters as a gift from a sweet friend and I LOVE them. They are heavy, elegant and lux!!
