Stylish Fall Sweaters!
As it gets cooler, it can be easy to fall into the habit of just throwing on whatever and calling it a day. But you should choose your sweaters wisely! Depending on the color, the material, and the overall design, a bad sweater can bring your whole outfit down. I’ve bought a few sweaters over the years that you’ll LOVE! You can throw all of these sweaters on with jeans and be warm…but stylish! By the way, all of these sweaters would make a wonderful gift (even for yourself!). Oh, and they are all on sale right now!
If you’re looking for more gift guides, you can find them all here.

#1) Camo Cashmere Sweater
This gorgeous Aqua Cashmere camo print sweater has been a long-time favorite of mine and if you’re a subscriber, you probably remember it! I also have the same sweater in black and gray. The sweater is thin enough that you can tuck or half-tuck it or leave it out. For a slightly roomier fit, order your traditional size (I’m wearing small). If you want a more fitted look, size down.
All of the AQUA sweaters are so soft, luxe… and the price is AMAZING! They’re almost always on sale, which makes them super affordable. They last a long time AND they wash and wear well. I wash mine in cold water with a gentle detergent in the gentle cycle and lay flat to dry.
You can check out all the Aqua cashmere sweaters here.
#2) Star Sleeve Sweater
I bought this Aqua star sleeve sweater a few years ago and still wear it every fall! The stars along the arms just give it a fun detail that’s different and cool. You can wear this alone or throw a jacket on if you have to run an errand and it’s cold out.
#3) Black Puff Sleeve Sweater
If you’re looking for a more classic cashmere sweater, this is a wonderful option. It has a small puff sleeve that gives it a little interesting detail, making it a not-so-basic, basic cashmere sweater! This exact one is sold out but there’s a similar one I’ve linked here. This one is also very similar but only comes in gray, blue, and oatmeal.
#4) Fair Isle Cashmere Sweater
Slope Style is a huge trend this fall/winter. The trend includes everything from moon boots to puffers to…fair isle sweaters! Fair isle sweaters are the easiest way to wear the trend. But they’re also a classic winter print, whether you’re interested in the trend or not. The sweater I linked is not the exact same coloring but it’s very similar. And it’s selling out fast!

#5) Sheer Mesh Sleeve Turtleneck
This sweater has super cool sheer mesh sleeves, the cashmere is so soft, and I love the turtleneck. The weight is great for fall, and if you live in a warm climate. And even with the puff sleeves, it’s still easy to layer under jackets and coats.

I love the white/cream turtlenecks but avoid them due to makeup rub off all over the top of the roll neck through the day. Any tips to avoid this? Recommendation on a particular setting spray, etc?
Hi Shauna! We totally get that! You can always go for a mock neck sweater instead like this one to get a similar look without the makeup rub-off. https://rstyle.me/+W-amvT7mIwyxSx7DiAuHCg If you’re looking for a setting spray, this one is great! https://rstyle.me/+9vr2-bbd-Qt3OWtmiZQ8vg
These sweaters are perfect! But please share info about the jeans with the buttons on the first pic (with camp sweater)! They’re so cute … Thx!
Thanks, Susan! Here’s a link to the jeans: https://rstyle.me/+NjgLmBqlLuhDCJd7C9ZeeA They’re super flattering! ~Team BUSBEE
Beautiful choices especially the purses. The leather is so smooth and gorgeous. I can’t wear the crew neck or turtleneck sweaters.
I just wanted to say thank you for all your tips and information! I’m still here and will continue to subscribe to Busbee style! It’s great to get your upbeat and no nonsense information. I find it very helpful, Even though I am in my sixties, I still enjoy staying up to date on style and fashion. I appreciate all the time you put into your site. Keep up the great work!
Hi erin love all the sweater suggestions but as a bigger busted woman i feel a roll neck adds to the size of my bust????
What would be some fashionable alternatives
Ps we are actually going in to our sUmmer here in australia but nice to see for next winter suggestions xxx
I’m down to about 20-24hrs of work the whole month! I’m a finisher for a master custom cabinetmaker. I’m trying my best to get just your basics list, much less the few luxe items to elevate my outfits. I’m very discouraged & have such anxiety because though I’m on a budget, I would still like to look expensive while looking for another job. Wish you had a clothing donation DRIVe or something to that effect. Great advice, love your looks, & faithfully follow your channel.
