The holidays are NOT the time to break the bank… especially when it comes to shopping for a holiday party outfit. And, besides… this year, gatherings are going to look a little different and will most likely be more casual. If you’re searching for a chic, casual… and affordable holiday outfit, I’m sharing a few of my favorite finds in this post below.

Chic Holiday Party Outfit
In case you couldn’t tell, it’s a winter wonderland here in Telluride right now! It really feels like living in a snow globe during this time of the year…it’s so beautiful and magical!
Although many of us won’t be getting super dressed up this year for extravagant holiday parties, we can still add a new piece or two to wear to smaller gatherings or your own family celebrations. This outfit is perfect for those more casual holiday get-togethers!
STYLE TIP: Keep your holiday outfits simple and cozy this year!
Scoop Blazer
I’m a big fan of blazers so I was SO excited that Scoop came out with this black double-breasted blazer! It’s a crepe material so it’s lightweight…perfect for anyone that lives in warmer climates. It has gorgeous gold buttons which really elevate the piece. And, the lining is a fun bright pink! This is a perfect holiday basic for ONLY $50!
STYLE TIP: Try it draped over your shoulders for a more ladylike look.
Metallic Bodysuit
If you haven’t tried a bodysuit yet, you should! You don’t have to deal with any bunching or riding up. I shared more about my thoughts on bodysuits (including the bathroom situation) in this video. This bodysuit by Sofia Vergara is a wrap style that’s very flattering. And the metallic fabric is just enough sparkle for the holidays without being over the top! And, yes I am FREEZING in these pics. Taking one for the team!!! 😉
STYLE TIP: For more coverage at the bust, wear a beautiful black lace bra or try double-sided tape.
Faux Leather Jeans
I paired the bodysuit with these faux leather jeans by Scoop. The faux leather looks really nice and they’re only $29! They have a button fly detail and are super high rise. They have a 29” inseam which is on the longer side for petites like me, but they work perfectly tucked into boots or booties! If you are between sizes, size UP on these.
STYLE TIP: Textures like faux leather add sophistication and edge!
Booties
I’ve featured these booties before in this post. These booties are so chic and comfortable (for heels)! They have a manageable 3” stiletto heel that’s easy to walk in. I seriously am impressed by how comfy these are…and I LOVE the scrunch detail around the ankle. The pointed toe will also make you look longer and leaner. (If you missed it, watch this video with tips on how to make you look taller.)
These booties are not meant for heavy snow. For elegant snow-friendly boots you can check out this post.
STYLE TIP: Black booties are a basic that all women should have in their closets
