#1 | Black
Wearing all black is a well-known way to look slimmer. This all-black look is one of my favorites. The key to monochromatic dressing is creating dimension through different fabric textures. In this look, I’m wearing petite black coated jeans that look like leather with a mesh detail tank and a black blazer. I share more about this look in this post. Note: If anything is sold out, I’ve linked similar options.

#2 | White
White is a harder color to wear and can sometimes make you look larger than you are. So you have to be smart when you’re wearing all white. Proportions are important here! I wore this outfit to the rewardStyle conference last year. This is definitely something you can only wear to an event. But you can still get the monochromatic outfit inspiration! I’m wearing a white sequin blazer and pants by Rachel Zoe. Unfortunately, they’re sold out but I linked similar options! See more details from this look in this post.

#3 | Red
Red is a trendy color for spring 2020. I shared the top 10 spring trends in this video and post if you’re interested! This all-red outfit is more winter focused but you can swap the sweater for a white blouse to make it more spring-friendly. I’m wearing a red blazer and pants with a white sweater underneath. I completed the look with chic red booties and a white bag. See more photos of this outfit here.

#4 | Green
I LOVE this all green outfit! If you work in an office, you should try a monochromic outfit like this inspired by Meghan Markle. I’m wearing a green leather skirt and a green knit sweater. These two pieces are different textured and different tones, which is important when you’re wearing a monochromatic outfit! I shared more about this outfit in this post.

#5 | Brown
You all know how much I love browns, beiges, and neutrals so this outfit is a favorite. I’m wearing a rust-brown cardigan with brown corduroy pants and a white sweater. I added one of my favorite brown Chloe bags to complete the look. Find more info on how to wear these corduroy pants here.

#6 | Pink
Pink is such a fun color for spring! If you love pink like me, try an all-pink outfit. In this look, I’m wearing a shorts suit from White House Black Market. It’s sold out but I linked some similar options. This is an unexpected and fresh outfit for work or an evening out. Keep in mind, your work environment has to be pretty progressive and fashion-forward to make something like this doable for work. For more pink office outfit inspiration, check out this post.
