Trendy Tops
You probably don’t want to go out right now and buy a bunch of summer tops. I’m with you! But… you can invest in tops that easily transition into the fall season. After picking up your basics (basics lists here) you might consider getting a couple of trendier pieces to add some excitement to your fall wardrobe.

Making the Transition
If you are like me, you struggle a bit with styling your floral print tops. Tougher still, finding prints that are sophisticated and luxe-looking. This top (above) by Alice + Olivia embroidered floral top is gorgeous! When I saw it, I immediately knew I needed it for Spain! BTW, if you missed all the info on why we moved to Spain, you can find that post here. The bright red, floral print, and balloon sleeves are so beautiful. It’s semi-sheer so you can get away with wearing a nude bra or the cropped cami I am wearing. This print and color are perfect for summer but the red is so versatile that it will easily transition to fall! I’m wearing it with denim shorts and sneakers but for fall you could wear jeans and sneakers or booties. The top is also thin enough to wear under a jacket during the fall!

Classic Floral Blouse
I’m not usually a huge fan of florals but this red floral print top by Misa is so pretty! I love the buttons on the front, ruffled shoulder detail, and blouson sleeves! This would be so pretty with jeans and heels for a night out. Or styled more casually with denim shorts and sneakers!

Subtle Floral Blouse
This gorgeous Joie top is another great option if you want to try a printed top but don’t want to go too far outside your comfort zone. This top has really pretty muted pink and tan colors that are beautiful but not too over the top.

Ulla Johnson makes some of the most beautiful, printed blouses and dresses out there. I love the colors in this blouse and that it’s not your typical print!

Faux Leather Top
Don’t want to try florals but still want to stand out? This faux leather top is perfect! It’s lightweight so you can wear it now. But it’ll also be perfect for fall! The color is also really beautiful.

Mixed Print Blouse
I bought a Cleobella dress for a trip to Mexico earlier this year and it was super comfortable, pretty, and versatile. I have a feeling this blouse will be the same way! I love the mix of the subtle floral print on most of the shirt and the geometric print around the cuffs.

Cool One-Shoulder Top
This one-shoulder top is gorgeous! The light blue will be unexpected for fall, I love the subtle striped pattern, and the cinched waist is super flattering on most body shapes. The one-shoulder is also super chic.

Modern Lace Top
I bought this Maje top after we got to Madrid and it’s SO chic and modern. I love the lace, asymmetrical hem, and higher neckline. Unfortunately, it’s sold out right now so I linked another option by the same brand!

Go-To Lace Blouse
If you’re a long-time follower, you’ve probably seen this top…it’s a go-to for me! This lace top by WAYF is so feminine, flattering, and pretty. And… it’s ONLY $89!! The lace looks VERY luxe for the price. It even comes with a built-in beige camisole so you don’t have to worry about it being see-through (you can snap the cami in and out). The puff sleeve and ruffled neck give it the perfect amount of drama. And the gold-tone buttons at the cuffs are a beautiful detail. It also comes in a bunch of other colors!

I wanted to mention that i wanted the jordi necklace by elizabeth cole bUt it had sold out. I did attAch a note to Their CUSTOMER service People back in may telling Them thAt i’d like to be notified if they ever RESTOCKED the NECKLACE and was noTified LaSt night they were AVAILABLE.I promptly put in a order.
My point is that if one really loves an item & it is not AVAILABLE iT is well worth the time to Attach a note about the desire to buy an item with contact info.
