The puff sleeve trend is still going strong I don’t see it going away anytime soon! I love a puff sleeve top or dress because it works wonders for a rectangular body shape (like me). If you missed my videos on body shapes, you can watch them all and learn how to dress for your body shape here.
How do you feel about the puff sleeve trend? I know it’s not for everyone but I’ve found three amazing options that might make you love the trend if you’re still on the fence!

DRESS | SANDALS | BAG | SUNGLASSES
#1 | L’Academie Dress
This white mini dress is perfect for summer! This is something you can wear to the beach, pool or lake. It’s on the shorter side so you can also wear it to dinner if you’re feeling brave and love your legs! It shows off your legs but has those fun puff sleeves to cover your arms. I also love the sexy drawstring neckline!
DRESS | WEDGES | SUNGLASSES
#2 | C/Meo Collective Dress
This off-white dress is so chic! It has an edgy, cool, and SEXY zipper detail down the front that contrasts with the more feminine puff sleeves and silhouette of the dress. It also has a flattering cinched waist, collared neck, and pockets! I love that this dress is the perfect mix of edgy and feminine!
DRESS | SANDALS | FOR LESS | BAG | FOR LESS | SUNGLASSES | NECKLACE #1 | NECKLACE #2
#3 | Petersyn Dress
This gorgeous green dress is SO flattering. It has a tie front waist and puff sleeves that help give you that sexy hourglass figure. Since I’m showing off my legs, I love that the dress has long sleeves to balance out the hemline. (NOTE: If you missed my video on the one skin rule, make sure you watch that here.)

As much as i love the romantic nature of the puff sleeve look, I just can’t make this work for my body shape, the inverted triangle. It just makes me look like a very top heavy Ice cream cone. Sometimes a bishop type sleeve with the volume towards the cuff can work. Alternately a puff sleeve that has a narrow shouldered almost vertical puff can be an option for a few of us. if the goal is to balance the broader upper body with the narrower lower half of the body, I can never make these puffed sleeve options work. However, that doesn’t stop me from still trying them on and wishing ……..
It’s not going to be for everyone…especially if you already have broader shoulders. Sorry about that! Maybe try a really subtle puff shoulder instead.
I clicked to buy the green dress, and it was sold out! love these!
It sold out so quickly… sorry about that!
