There is nothing better than feeling comfy while still looking cute. I know all of you have your favorite comfy outfit, and you probably love when you get a chance to wear it on a lazy, cozy day. The truth is, there is absolutely no reason why you can’t still look great on those cozy days. All you need is a little bit of inspiration!
I’m sharing five comfy, yet stylish lazy day outfits to help inspire you to keep your clothing comfortable and stylish, without ever looking sloppy or lazy.

#1 | Teddy Jacket
One super-easy way to look stylish and feel cozy is with a teddy jacket or coat! You can find some really cute teddy jackets that are SO soft. Wrap up in a fuzzy jacket and you’ll feel so warm and cozy. Style it with jeans and a sweater for a more pulled-together look. This teddy jacket by Scoop is sold out but I linked a few other favorites below.

#2 | Chunky Sweater
You can also go for an oversized chunky sweater for a chic, cozy outfit. These sweaters are great because they hide all your insecurities, but also look super chic when they’re worn with the right pair of jeans. I’m wearing a white Lovers+Friends sweater with cool ankle zip jeans and dad sneakers. I love the knit detail of this sweater and thick turtleneck for added comfort. I also love that it’s cozy, but you would feel comfortable getting out of the house in an outfit like this!
Find more of my favorite chunky sweaters below…

#3 | Oversized Sweater
Can you see a theme here? Here is another way to wear an oversized sweater and still look stylish. The longer sweater will cover your legs and bottom if that’s something you look for in a sweater. But be careful when shopping for oversized sweaters…you want to find one that’s not so oversized that it completely hides your figure. Look for more body-skimming sweaters instead.

#5 | Stylish Sweats
Yes…stylish sweats do exist! These joggers are my absolute favorites by Norma Kamali. They’re SO comfortable and soft they feel like sweats. You can find some really cute sweatsuits but I prefer to build my own. With these joggers, I added a comfy sweater. I can wear this look to run errands or slide into my slippers for a lazy day at home!
#5 | Joggers
Continuing with the joggers…you can go for something more fun like these printed camo joggers and keep it more casual with a tank and sneakers. This outfit inspiration is meant for those days when you are in a rush, or simply just cannot be bothered with getting dolled up! This look is super laid back, easy, and still stylish!

Hi!
REally quite enjoy your blog and youtube videos. just wondering if you could recommend someone like you who gives styling tips etc. to a ‘young’ over 60ish lady like me!
thanks!
(definitely will keep reading/watching what you offer too but some of the ‘looks’ are a bit too young for me-ha!
How about some of my friends: Cathy Williamson, Beth from Style at a Certain Age, Melissa55 on YouTube (she’s 65), Deborah from FabulousOver40 (she’s in her 50’s), Janet Gunn from Grateful Gardenia.
Hi Erin,
I love your blog, its filled with amazing tips! What I Would like to ask for better brand lines with extended sizing! I mean better made. Its so discouraging to finD sizes that only go to 16 when I love a piece or outfit.
“Dress yhe body you have”
Most bodies are 12 and above.
Please consider at least a post with sizes 12+
Thanks so much for your inspiration,
Coleen
Great feedback, Coleen! Thanks! Hoping to round up some 12+ models to feature on the blog. Erin xo
