My friend, Marnie, has been encouraging me to blog about home decor and organization.
My husband. who is keenly aware of my obsession with HGTV (Property Brother anyone?), has also been nudging me in that direction.
Why?
Well, for those of you who don’t know me that well (or only know what you read on the blog) besides fashion and style, I’m very passionate about home design.
I am constantly decorating and/or redecorating my home.
I pour over home magazines like Verdana, Elle Decor and Southern Living.
I recently discovered the site Houzz.com, and I’m transfixed. I browse rooms on the app/site three times a day!
Friends will tell me they are looking for something for their home, and whether I have the time or not, it becomes my mission to find the perfect piece.
So..yea…kind of a passion.
I’m not leaving style behind. I I simply want to start sharing more of my love of the home, by featuring some of my favorite furniture, home decor and organization tips.
