Luxe loungewear is the not-so-new trend taking over your Instagram…and probably your life! Loungewear is starting to outsell jeans and leggings and I’m here for it! Comfortable and chic…what more could you ask for!? But finding the perfect cozy loungewear is not easy. I order $2,000 worth of loungewear in an effort to find the best of the best. I sent most of it back by the way! I’ll keep reporting with my newest finds but these four have been my go-to loungewear sets so far…

#1 | Black Monrow Hoodie & Joggers
Monrow is known for its super soft and comfortable loungewear. So of course, I ordered a bunch of pieces from them! And let me tell you…the brands that specialize in creating sweatpants and sweatshirts are THE BEST! The fabric and fit on this hoodie and the sweatpants are both amazing. The joggers are great for petites because they’re a little cropped (I’m 5’4”). And they’re just SO soft! Under the hoodie, I’m wearing my newest elevated basic…a ruched sleeve elevated tee by Free People. Throw on your slippers around the house to complete this look. Or slip on your favorite sneakers to run a quick errand. If you missed my post on if these sneakers are worth the investment, check it out here.
I’m wearing a small hoodie, small tee, and x-small pants.

#2 | Gray Monrow Sweatshirt & Sweats
Like I said, Monrow is the best! So I love this set too! If you already have a go-to brand that you love because of the fit and fabric… stick with that brand. They’re both super-soft thermal, cozy, and slimming! The top can be worn on or off the shoulder. I’m wearing a small top and x-small pants.
#3 | Norma Kamali Jacket + Joggers
Norma Kamali is another amazing brand! I have a few pieces but the joggers are by far my favorite! I’ve had these for years and featured them multiple times here on the site! They’re so soft they feel like pajamas but they look luxe and chic enough to wear running errands, to the grocery store, or even just answering your front door. The jacket is another piece I’ve owned for a while. I love the stripes down the sleeves that give it a sporty, modern look. I’m wearing a small in both.

#4 | Free People Sweatshirt Hoodie & Joggers
For loungewear that’s high-quality but a little more affordable, Free People is great! This hoodie is really soft and cozy. I love that the fitted elastic waist helps create shape! It comes in five colors and runs TTS, I’m wearing a small. If you run hot, these joggers will be perfect for you! They’re very lightweight and silky soft. I also love the adjustable drawstring ankle that gives them a stylish, ruched look.

Lounge wear is having its time in the sun, isn’t it? I upped my lounge wear game this past week. I got lots of pieces at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. There was no shortage of softer than soft fabrics too. And, these pieces are stylish. So much so that I have no issues wearing them over to my friends to hang out.
All your pieces look darling on you!
My favourites are from Encircled. Or Leze the Label (sale on in USA today) for their workwear that feels like PJs.
I do love your style and videos, and we have some similar problems related to age/ menopause, you are lovely. But you are bringing back shoulder pads and showing $128 sweat pants. I am 5’9” thin but shoulders like a linebacker, and the longest legs lol. I spent years cutting out shoulder pads and hand sewing clothes back together, I hope this trend moves by quickly lol. I can watch your style and still be in awe, but my income could definitely not support even one of your Best Buy’s. I feel like we are drifting apart ????
Haha! Let’s not drift apart, Joanne! Shoulder pads are lovely for some women. I feature a wide range of price points on my channel and blog from luxury to more affordable pieces. I encourage my audience to use my tips and suggestions as a guide for shopping thoughtfully for items that fit into their personal budget. Thanks for your feedback! ~Erin xo
I just recently bought the vuori joggers and I am literally living in them. They are truly amazing and so comfortable.
Perfect timing for your post – I’m looking for some additional pieces for my stay at home lifestyle. I was looking at Monroe, but the price has been holding me back. Most of my time at home is in yoga gear (I practice daily via Zoom), oversized PJ Salvage flannel pj’s, and my Athleta collection Sculptek denims skinny jeans (yep, fell in love with the stretch and snap back into place concept, so I have 5 pair of them). I picked up a couple of Zella pieces from Nordstrom, but I have to admit, while I like the joggers, the Zella Sweatshirts, tops…are not my favorite. I’m 5’4, much curvier than you are at 130 lb. and have long legs and shorter torso without a discernible waist. I also have scar tissue that runs down my abdomen from multiple surgeries, so having comfortable items against my stomach is always an imperative. For something more luxurious/pricey, I have discovered the Barefoot Dreams joggers and tops…I have two sets and with my UGG cardi booties, this has been my favorite for working and relaxing from home here in Wisconsin.
I am not a work from home Mom but still love to be cozy and comfy when I get home. I love the matching suit and went to purchase it but they did not offer tall. I am 5’9” and hate short inseams. Too bad! I recently discovered your channels and am absolutely obsessed with your content. Keep up the great work. I live the the PNW so the waterproof boots are ??
I really love your content Erin! You can’t imanige how valuable I find it and how much you have help me already.
Thank you 🙂
What a sweet note… thank you SO much!! Erin xo
Love the collection!! It looks great on u. When I had four foster kids I was lucky if I remembered to get dressed. Lol That collection could go anywhere.
Wow…FOUR foster kids? You’re a saint, Rita! Erin xo
OMG! I have done it! Slept in my sweats and then drove the kids to school!d So glad I’m not the only one.
You are NOT alone, and this might be a regular occurrence for yours truly. 😉 Erin xo
