Outfit Ideas for Fall
In the VIDEO above, I put together a small lookbook with some outfit options.
It’s a real mix. Everything from jeans and a moto jacket, to a long dramatic, duster blazer!
Please comment below and let me know if there are more outfit ideas you would like to see.
I also posted some of the outfits below for your reference.
Duster Blazer
Add Drama to Your Fall Look
For my fashion drama queens… or as I always say, for those who like drama (with their clothes)… I give you the NBD duster blazer.
SUCH an awesome piece! DO wear it over something simple like skinny jeans and a tee and let the blazer standout.

Who What Wear
Affordable and Modern Pieces
The girls from the website, “Who What Wear” have a modern and chic collection at Target.
Most of their wearable and fashion forward pieces also come in plus size.
My two favorite pieces are the red bag with the python guitar strap, $29 (above) and the mules!

All White
Lighten Up This Fall
When you are tired of black and gray, black and gray, black and gray… lighten up with ALL WHITE.
You can wear white ANY time of year now, not just in the summer.
DO try layering textures and tones for a rich winter white look.
White Boots
You can also swap out the beige booties, for WHITE boots!

Vest Under Moto Jacket
Try Layering a Vest Under Your Jacket
One of my go-to layering combinations at the moment, wearing my Zella quilted vest, UNDER my leather moto jacket.
It makes the moto MUCH warmer and I love how sleek and sporty it looks.
DO try some flat top shades to add another sporty touch.

Waterproof Booties
I featured some waterproof black booties with this look.

Plaid Coat
Bring on the Drama (and Warmth!)
Now that I live in a bonafide cold climate, I need to up my winter coat game. This plaid coat is not only cozy, warm and chic….it’s also LONG!
So it will really keep my whole body warm. Cause you know what it’s like when that wind starts whipping.
I would suggest wearing this statement coat with solid neutrals like blacks, grays or burgundies.
The warmest coats ever…are the long puffer coats. Click here to check out some long puffer options.

Hello… love the blog but also wish you’d show style that flatters those of us who aren’t a size S or XS….
Thoughts?
Wanna come to Colorado and model for me?? 😉 I think most of what I feature can be worn by women of all shapes and sizes. The wardrobe basics apply to everyone.
The style ideas are applicable to all. There are probably a few wild cards, but not many. I can see a curvy woman rocking the jeans/tee and duster look. Or all black with a statement coat. Sweater and boots works for all too! Are there specific occasions you need outfit ideas for?? Erin xo
Hi Erin, I recently subscribed to your blog and I’ve found it incredibly helpful. Have you done a video or blog on over the knee boots? As you’ve said in this video, they have a very sexy vibe, but I’m also interested in how to make them work in a more subtle or elegant way? Can they ever be worn in an office setting – like an ad agency or tech company – if so, how to make that work? Perhaps even some suggestions on brands and styles that stay up (less tugging), or options for someone like me who has skinny runners’ legs. Always a problem for me to find narrow calf styles. Thank you so much for all you do and for helping me stay engaged and in love with fashion. – Laura
The Stuart Weitzman 50/50 boots are ideal for narrow calves: http://rstyle.me/n/csjyg558an I think a flat pair of OTK boots would be easy for the office, with black leggings and a longer tunic or sweater.
Flats would tone down the sexy. I think if you go monochromatic, that will help too.
Love, love, love the plaid coat. Almost makes me wish I still lived in snow country…………….almost! In Scottsdale I would have no use for that gorgeous coat, unfortunately. Looks great on you.
LOL… thanks, Kathy! How long have you been in Scottsdale?? I was pretty ready to leave Texas after 8 years. Looking forward to the snow, believe it or not! Got my car starter ready!! Erin xo
