Gifts For The Hostess
Do you have holiday parties to attend this year but don’t want to show up empty-handed? The season for get-togethers and celebrations is nearly upon us and I love to thank the hostess of any size gathering with a little something special. Having a few hostess gifts handy for those inevitable invites is, as Martha Stewart would say, “A good thing”. Why not consider something unique and different? These hostess gift picks say “thank you” in a thoughtful and creative way, without being boring or expected. Sure– you can always grab a bottle of wine or flowers to bring along, but, haven’t we all been there and done that? These gifts would also be great for a neighbor, coworker, teacher, friend…

Useful & Pretty
William Sonoma makes the best kitchen towels. They last forever and wash really well. You could wrap one around a bottle of wine and add a ribbon for a hostess gift. They have several holiday options (linked a few here!) and this set of 2 has you covered for 2 parties! So, if you are going to bring wine, why not wrap it up in this useful way?

This is a surprisingly affordable yet very personal and sweet gift! You email the maker a photo of a home and they create this memorable ornament. A great keepsake and amazing house-warming gift!
14

"Morning After" Indulgence
Every hostess spends a good amount of time the morning after a gathering cleaning up and washing dishes which is why this is a REALLY thoughtful gift. You can either bake them ahead OR just bring them uncooked and your host can throw them in the oven the next morning. A warm, gooey, cinnamon roll with coffee or tea is a real treat!
With just a few exceptions these are ridiculously expensive suggestions for hostess gift possibilities. Maybe I shall throw a party in hopes I may receive one.
Thank you for leaving me a note! I will keep your thoughts in mind for our next hostess gift guide. If you are looking for something similar in a specific price range, just let me know and I’d be more than happy to find some great options for you! Enjoy your week!
