Tips

#1 | Size Down

Leather pants show every lump and bump so there may be a temptation to size UP, but DON’T DO IT! The leather stretches. You want them to fit like second skin. More about these pants…they are real leather pants by Frame in a gorgeous, rich tan color. They are also pretty pricey. You can save a ton by opting for faux leather or even coated jeans.

#2 | Keep It Simple

When you have a standout piece like these leather pants one of the keys to making the look work?? Keep it simple! The color of these pants, combined with the sheen and texture of leather really makes a statement, so you should keep the rest of the look simple and classic. I paired it with a simple white sweater. This exact sweater is sold out in white so I linked a few other options. You could also pair it with a simple black top.

#3 | Accessories

I’ve mentioned before that wearing one color makes you look longer and leaner. The same is true with a color like this. You can see that I paired the leather pants with some boots that are the same color. It creates a longer, leaner look. I would suggest keeping accessories pretty simple too. I added a Rag & Bone fedora hat, this pretty necklace, and the rings I wear daily.

  2. A couple of weeks ago you mentioned faux leather leggings by spanx. I bought a pair and paired them with a large sweater to a happy hour cocktail party. I received so many compliments….just had to let you know. Also, love your lipstick color. Would you mind sharing what it is? Thank you in advance.
