Do you believe in manifestation? Do you know what it is?? Manifestation is when a thought or idea becomes a reality. There are zillions of examples, but let me start with something simple. Let’s take coffee. You wake up and think I would really love my favorite oat milk vanilla latte, but I don’t have time to stop and get one. About thirty minutes later you arrive at work and your co-worker has placed your favorite coffee on your desk. You did it. You manifested your coffee. 😉 I am a big believer in the power of manifestation!
I share more about things I manifested in this post. I also talk about it regularly in my weekly email newsletter here.
In this post, I am SO excited to share an amazing, recent manifestation story with you that I haven’t talked about before. I actually didn’t even realize I manifested it until after it was happening. Shall we..?

Manifestation Moment
As you may already know, my family moved to Spain for six months. (We just got back to the US in January. You can read all about the move, why we did it, the logistics, etc. here.) While we were in Spain, we took full advantage of how easy it is to travel to other countries. (Details about all of our travels are in this post.) Anyway, one of my favorite places we visited was Marrakech, Morocco. I wanted to book a very beautiful hotel where I could take pictures that was also a little removed from town so we stayed at the Amanjena (pictured below… which was an unbelievably beautiful resort). We toured the city sites with an Airbnb guide, visited the souks, even had dinner and a camel ride in the in the desert. The entire trip was magic…! Literally.

What to Do
Shortly after we arrived, I was Googling things to see in Marrakech. We had our desert excursion and tour planned, but nothing else. One place kept popping up in my search… La Mamounia. It’s a very famous and exclusive hotel. I started doing a bit more digging and noticed a very familiar photo. It was a blogger holding her partner’s hands in a beautiful location (see below). I was wracking my brain trying to remember why that image looked so familiar. I knew that I had seen it before.
Well, it finally hit me… I created a vision board a year and a half earlier with that EXACT picture. (Keep scrolling to see my vision board.)
Recreating the Picture
You see the first picture above? Look in the bottom right corner…that’s the photo I added to my vision board a year and a half ago. When I added it, I had NO clue where the photo was taken. I simply thought it was beautiful and it made me feel free.
Chris and I had a pretty long travel wish list when we moved to Spain, and Marrakech was more of a last minute, “wouldn’t it be cool” option…not a must see.
The second photo above is me recreating the same concept as the original… in Marrakech! A year and half after I added that picture to my vision board, with no idea where the picture was even taken… I am standing in the exact same place. UNREAL, right? That’s the magic of manifestation.

Green Dress
For my very important photo recreation, I wore this dress above which felt both modest and sexy. In Marrakech, it is culturally appropriate to stay covered up. Long skirts and dresses with sleeves are recommended. The gorgeous green dress I’m wearing is by & Other Stories… a brand that I knew about, but rediscovered here in Spain. The brand combines fashion and function beautifully. It’s also affordable. I love that the dress is long, has sleeves and a mock neck, and yet is so sexy. Ultimately, though, it was the color that really sold me!
Okay, now for the really fun part… what moments in your life have you manifested??? I can’t wait to read your stories in the comments below.
