Mixing prints is no easy feat, but I have a two-step, fool-proof method to help you get it right.
STEP 1: Choose one color story.
In this case (above) it’s navy and ivory.
STEP 2: Choose one larger scale printed piece… and one smaller scale.
In the look above, the tank has small ink dots, and the skirt has a larger geometric print.
That’s it.
You’re done.
This is an easy, breezy weekend look.
If you wanted to make it more buttoned up for the office or an event, simply lose the denim jacket and boots, and wear wedges/heels and a black, pink, navy, yellow or white blazer.
Thank you SO much for stopping by.

I am always confused about wearing one print with another! Now, you have made it so easy ,and I think I can do it !:) So, thank you so much, once again!! What a pretty combination!I Love the boots ,too! Ok…, I have a question. I bought some really cute gold leather boots, made by “Twiggy” , the super model from the 60s! (in case you don’t know who she is 😉 ).And, they are about the same height as the ones you have on, here. What can I wear them with? I mean, I know jeans.. but, what about a skirt and top like you are wearing, or a cute dress? I kind of bought them on a whim, bc they were just so cute and were marked down to $34.00 from $110.00! But, I put them on several times, then ended up taking them off , bc I’m afraid I will look crazy in them, especially in the summer ! What says you, Ms Erin?? Thanks so much! Love you, Jill xxxooo
