What To Wear When It Rains

If you do not already own a TRENCH COAT in black, navy or beige, it needs to be on the top of your shopping list!

It’s a wardrobe staple, and a piece you will continually need.

A great trench coat will keep you warm and dry when it rains.

It will add polish and sophistication to even the simplest looks.

And… it is perfect for travel. I take mine on trips, even in the summer!

STYLING NOTES

– I suggest buying a black, belted, double breasted trench (similar to the one I’m wearing.)

I would look for one that falls somewhere between mid-thigh and inch or two above your knees (for maximum versatility)

You should also own a pair of RAIN BOOTS.

On the RARE day in Texas that is raining, I always bust mine out.

They are super cute and keep your feet dry. No sense ruining a pair of shoes out in the rain!

I prefer black rain boots for maximum versatility, but you can opt for a cute polka dotted pair, or a bright color, like red.

I also bought a pair of rain boots with a chunky heel… because… well… why not? I’m petite and I can sure use the extra inches.
