The Biggest Fashion Blogger Conference of the Year!
This was my 3rd Reward Style conference. I am very proud to have been invited again this year. It’s an invite-only event (that you pay for). Reward Style invites the TOP 200 earning influencers out of 16,000+. (Influencer is a fancy word for blogger.) Once RSVP’s come in, they cast the net wider and extend the invites to a slightly larger group. But, basically, if you are there…you are running a business. No one is there by mistake or because of a contact.
These women are building incredible businesses. They are writing, editing, managing social media, creating graphics, learning SEO and code. It’s NO joke. They are very disciplined, and entrepreneurial. I am always SO inspired by all of these amazing women!
(I will be doing another post about who I met and what I learned. This one is all about fashion!)

DAY ONE
SEQUIN DRESS (0)
Pool Party Hosted by Supergoop
I literally rolled my suitcase into the lobby, checked in as quickly as possible, threw my hair up.. and then did this fun shoot with three of my favorite people! From left, Cathy Williamson, The Middle Page Blog, Tiffany Davros, Street Style Squad and Heather Anderson from So Heather. The pool party is exciting because everyone is so thrilled to be there, and say hi to familiar faces. I met a bunch of YouTubers at the pool party too! I’ll talk more about who I met in another post.
Rachel Zoe Mini Dress
I decided to wear this sequined palm print “Amelia” mini dress because it felt appropriate for a poolside party. I also think the back is pretty amazing! The sequins are an unexpected twist. It’s hard to see them in photos, but the whole dress is covered in sequins. If you have a summer wedding or any fun pool parties coming up, I would highly recommend this piece.
Jewelry
It’s also a bit hard to see my jewelry but it’s a chic, matching, green set: Surf Linear Earrings, Surf Necklace and Surf Ring. I turned the necklace backwards so the lariat would drop against the bare back. I also love the retro, round Jamie Sunglasses…look closely in the picture and you’ll notice how the frames kind of change colors from orange to pink…depending on the light.

DAY TWO
JUMPSUIT (XS)
Keynote & Classes
The first event of the day was a series of presentations by various industry leaders including Reward Style co-founder Amber Venz Box, Song of Style influencer, Aimee Song, and billion-dollar jewelry empire creator Kendra Scott. All of these speeches were incredibly powerful and inspiring. I got to meet both Amber and Aimee over the weekend.
Jumpsuit
I decided to wear this Alexis jumpsuit on the first full day because 1) I LOVE it… 2) It’s stylish and unexpected and 3) It made me look tall!
When I’m packing for this conference I am always torn about wearing things I think you will love and want to buy, and things I love and really want to wear. Sometimes I can find the perfect combination of both, but this year I just wore what made me happy. If you are looking for more casual outfit ideas, I will have another lookbook video up on YouTube soon! Here is one I did a couple of weeks ago. You might also enjoy my video highlighting outfit ideas for your white jeans here.

Cocktail Party with Express
For the cocktail party on the second evening, I coordinated with my friend, Heather (pictured above) I call her my “Blogger Sister” because we look a lot alike. She had on a pink shorts suit and I wore this yellow suit by Veronica Beard. You can check out our matching shorts suits on Instagram here. Shorts suits are my jam! If you are petite like me, they definitely work in your favor, making your legs look longer. I also feel like a shorts suit is an unexpected, trendy option that feels elegant and understated. I would consider it for your upcoming parties. The great thing about this suit, is I can also easily wear the pieces separately. The jacket would look awesome with white jeans or over a white sundress. The shorts would be great with a simple white tee.
You may also recall me talking about the shorts suit trend in my spring trend roundup video here. This is a great video if you want to know what’s trending in fashion.

DAY THREE
DRESS (XS)| BELT BAG (converts to crossbody too)
Brand Meetings & Brand Lounge
The second day was chock full of one-on-one meetings with brands. I had the chance to sit down with Mary Kay, QVC, Sole Society and Ann Taylor. During these meetings, I like to look professional, but also stylish. Comfort is key. I thought this soft, jersey dress by Norma Kamali was just perfect. Do not hesitate to scoop up this elegant and sporty dress. It also travels beautifully since the fabric doesn’t wrinkle. The belt bag was ideal for the long work day. It kept me relatively hands free so I could focus on shaking hands, passing out business cards and my media kit.
Remember these sock booties by Stuart Weitzman? I bought them this winter. They are lightweight and seasonless.

Finale Party Hosted by LikeToKnow.It
The final look was for the finale party, which I ended up deciding to skip. I got dressed up immediately following my brand meetings, took some photos with a sweet Dallas photographer named Becca, and then realized how exhausted I was. I made the decision to order room service, and hang out in my room instead, which was heaven.
For the last party I like to push the envelope a little… and bring on the drama! Cause WHY NOT! This is the time to do it. You can check out the risque dress I wore last year here.
Dramatic Drape Top
I bought this side drape top by Peace & Love from Misguided. I knew I wanted to wear it, but I needed ridiculously high rise white pants to pair with it. Once I found these pants by Michael Costello, I was pretty psyched! You may recall these pants from my Hawaii trip here. They also come in black and red.

Thank you SO much for stopping by!
You look fantastic, Erin!
Great looks all around! I would be all over that ShopBop dress
Odd question, for those of us with the super white legs or ones that don’t look as great as yours, is there a lotion or something that you can recommend? Not necessarily a self tanner but like a flash balm for legs?
Am I making any sense? LOL!
Thank you!
Absolutely… GLO-TION by L’Oreal is the best!! https://rstyle.me/~cz-ashIs Go darker. I bought medium and it’s SO good. Spray tans are too time consuming for me. ?
Hi Erin, Thanks so much for sharing your outfits for the conference! As soon as I saw your post, I showed it to my high school son’s girlfriend, Paige. She LOVED the backless dress and the yellow hot pants. She is absolutely going to get one or both outfits. She also loves the white “bandage” top and white pant outfit.
Thanks again for sharing. By the way, did you get to visit with Marnie at the conference? I used to enjoy your collaborations in the past.
You look AhMAZing in all of them!
FABULOUS outfits! You look like a million bucks in all of these photos. Glad you had fun at the conference
Thank you SO much, Christine!! xoxo
I think the black and white Norma Kamali was my favorite; you look ready to crush it at those meetings. And I remember those days when traveling for business, and with small children at home…room service and relax. Heaven indeed!
You SO get it! It was lovely to relax… after a weekend of complete crazy and lots of networking. Plus, I had to recharge a little before coming back to my #1 job…mom. 😉
Gimme all the jumpsuits! That jumpsuit looks amazing on you! LOVE
I am WITH YOU. It’s rare I order a jumpsuit I don’t love… I think they are polarizing, though. You are either a jumpsuit girl, or you’re not. 😉 Jumpsuit girls unite! Erin xo
Erin, WOW, do you look great! My favorite was the striped jumpsuit with the hat. Next the yellow short suit, but you looked outstanding in all the outfits. There are not enough words to describe how beautiful you are. All heads must have turned when you walked by.
What a sweet note! Thank you SO much, Joann! I think it’s hard to turn heads at this event since everyone is stylish, but I sure had fun dressing up! Erin xo
I love your style! The sequin cocktail dress is so AMAZing!
Thanks so much, Claire! I featured it again on Sat. on the site. It’s one of those dresses that the more you wear it, or see it, the more you LOVE it!
The white cross over top with white pants is a stunning outfit! I really like the Norma Kamali dress too, because it seems so versatile.
Thank you SO much!! That Norma dress is SO versatile… I’m going to wear it a ton. Erin xo
Wow! You looked amazing in every outfit that you wore. You have great legs btw!
Thank you, Janet!! I’m happy to be doing more traditional exercises again so they look more toned. Tracy Anderson was great for long, lean strength, but not a lot of muscle definition.
I can’t pick a favorite between the suit or dramatic white shirt outfit. You look absolutely divine in everything and your legs look killer! Whatever you are doing, it’s working. Thanks for sharing your conference with us.
Thank you SO much, Debbie! I did a workout post update a couple of weeks ago… http://busbeestyle.com/2018/04/12/fitness-routine-update-2/
Hi Erin! Wow you looked so beautiful at your conference, it is very hard to pick what outfit I like the best, but the yellow one really looks great and the number 2 is the white one for me.. That’s if you’re making me pick one LOL just beautiful Erin!
Haha… thank you SO much, Denise! I loved all of these looks so much. I feel like I picked winners this year! Erin xo
I love the sequined palm print mini dress and it looks great on you! I also love the white crop top and high rise pants and the yellow short suit! I just ordered a blue striped cropped leg jumpsuit this morning. I hope it make me look tall; I am 5’4”.
I’m 5’4″ too! what jumpsuit did you order? Erin xo
