The Top Ten List!
Let’s tackle Spring Fashion Trends 2018! Believe it or not, it’s time.
I have poured over publications and runway shows, looking for my favorite, most wearable trends for spring 2018.
The top ten list, my video and my carefully selected, spring fashion picks are all listed below.
Spring Fashion Trends 2018 Video
I wanted to get this video up ASAP so you are prepared for your spring shopping!
You do NOT have to buy anything new and trendy, but if you want to add some modernity to your wardrobe this spring, I think the video will give you some great ideas. Personally, I’m invested in high waist pants, sequins and I’ll likely grab a lavender piece as well.

My Picks…
Sequins
I really love the idea of incorporating sequins in our day to day lives with sneakers! This pair by Ugg, #9 also comes in white.
Sheer
The kelly green, sheer paneled dress #10, is such an elegant, standout option for daytime weddings.
Shorts Suit
The yellow Veronica Beard suit is available for pre-order, #7. Here is a link to the shorts. I think it’s absolutely gorgeous!
High Waist Pants
I saw a similar version of #6, the Marissa Webb high waist leather pants on fashion blogger, Wendy’s Lookbook. She is petite and the length was wonderful.
Romance
I think #2 is a great way to add florals for those who don’t necessarily love floral prints.
Checks
Pick up the checked skinny pants #3 as a great office alternative to black. Add a bold colored accessory to finish off the look.
Lavender
And, THE COLOR of the season, lavender, I think #1 is a very wearable and affordable option. Loving the puffy sleeves!

Lavender is the newest pastel on the block.
Pink, yellow and white are very on trend. Look for bold colors too! It’s an ‘anything goes’ season when it comes to color and prints.

A new take on a suit, the shorts suit!
Don’t feel like you have to buy a matching set. You can easily create your own with white, navy, beige or black.
For example, I would pair my faux leather shorts with a Vince Camuto blazer.

The sheer trend is a great way to add some sexiness to your look, without actually showing skin.
It’s an awesome trend for mature women with aging skin who prefer to stay more covered.
Look for sheer panels in tops, skirts, even bags.

The Fanny Pack or “Belt Bag” is back and more chic than I remember. I bought this Prada Cahier version that you can also carry with a shoulder strap.
Wear these with jeans or pants…or over a tunic or knit sweater. I’ve seen belt bags paired with gowns. How amazing to be hands free at a special event!

The Romantic trend encompasses quite a few design details from ruffles to floral prints to puffy sleeves.
Look for Victorian or vintage-inspired pieces.
[show_shopthepost_widget id=”3030019″]
Sequins are always in, but this season look for sequins for daytime! Try a sequined skirt paired with a tunic sweater. Or try the sequined sneakers I featured above to incorporate sparkle in a sporty way.
Shop sequin tops and tanks here.

Fringe and tassels. Tassels and fringe. Maybe even some feathers. Texture is definitely having a moment.
More fringe finds here.

The trench coat is getting feminine updates like an a-line or flared silhouette, ruffles, tie sleeves, etc.
These are classic, but with a modern twist.
Guaranteed to make your legs look a mile long…the high waist pants!
I’m a huge fan of this trend as it has a way of concealing a muffin top. Not to mention, it looks VERY feminine highlighting the waist.

Plaid and checks are very much on trend this spring season. Look for checks in traditional menswear, taupe/brown colors or try something new, like the pinks and blues above.

About your dog shedding so much, I know, ……all this fabulous fashion, and I email you about your dog!! Anyway, have you had him go to an allergy dog vet? I had to take my little Sophie, as she was always itching.(When I first got her.) She’s on special, dry dog food now. I wish I had know about vet allergy doctors for a dog I had 20 years ago. The last 6 years of his life his, lower back was itchy for him, not bad, no sores or anything, but still I would have taken him to the allergy vet. Take care.
