LWD stands for Little White Dress and LBD stands for Little Black Dress. Everyone talks about the LBD as a wardrobe must-have, and I agree! You should have that perfect little black dress you can pull out of your closet that makes you feel chic and confident.
But the LWD is equally as important (and some people even prefer it to the LBD). Phew, that’s a LOT of acronyms. 😉

I’m personally a big fan of BOTH the LBD and the LWD! Some people don’t like to wear black during the summer because it can be hot, or they think black just isn’t a summer color. But this Amanda Uprichard dress is perfect for summer! It’s lightweight, the perfect length, and the long sleeves are great if you don’t like showing your arms! It also has a v neckline, ruffled collar, and tiered hem for a more feminine feel.
I styled it with the Valentino sandals and my new favorite adjustable Kendra Scott necklace!

This gorgeous little white dress is also by Amanda Uprichard! I say that if you find a brand you love, that fits you well…buy more of it! I shared a top I love by Amanda Uprichard in this post too. I love this sleeveless white dress. It’s perfect for summer! I love the high smocked neckline and flattering drop waist. It also has a sexy keyhole slit front! I styled the dress with the same sandals. But you could easily dress both of these dresses up with heels or make it casual with sandals!
