Styling Faux Leather Pants
Don’t be intimidated by leather, faux leather or coated pants/jeans.
They are not only sexy, modern and fun, they are also quite easy to style.
Just treat them like you do your dark wash jeans.

Coated Jeans
These lightweight, coated pants by Eileen Fisher, look like leggings, but they are pants so they have more structure.
That means they are a bit easier to wear (than leggings).
Eileen Fisher is a go-to for effortless, comfortable, long-lasting basics.
The silhouettes are forgiving (never too tight). These pants provide plenty of breathing room around the waist.
And, the pieces come in both plus and petite sizes.

COAT | PANTS | FOR LESS | HOODED TUNIC | SUNGLASSES
1) All Black with a Camel Coat
You don’t have to overcomplicate a look, sometimes it is better to keep things simple.
Take this look (above), for example. I am wearing all black, with a gorgeous camel coat by Mackage.
This monochromatic look is slimming, and will add height to your frame.
When I do wear all one color, I like to vary the textures.
The tunic I’m wearing is long (covers your bum) and it is also VERY lightweight, and perfect for layering.

2) Statement Sweater
This outfit is the same concept as the look above, only instead of a statement coat, I
paired my all black look with a statement sweater and a velvet hat.
This snuggly sweater by Velvet is super soft and warm.

3) Sexy Off Shoulder Blazer
Wear this look when you want to dress up for dinner with your significant other, or for girl’s night out!
The off-shoulder blazer is unique, unexpected and quite elegant against the edgier faux leather pants.

Thank you SO much for stopping by!
Love the look of these jeans! Would they work on a pear shaped body? Also I️ have thicker legs and calves with a longer torso and shorter legs. Any thoughts? Thank you!!
Technically anything shiny would call attention, but I think you can rock these by wearing a longer cardigan like I did or a tunic sweater/tunic. Just keep the length a bit longer to minimize hips. Eileen Fisher is great about cutting pieces that fit curvy women. I say…give them a whirl! Erin xo
Wow!!! I love that camel coat, that Bardo blazer and the cardi! You look amazing. Colorado agrees with you.
Thank you SO much sweet, Rita! Erin xo
Being that the pants have a 30” inseam, how do you handle the length.
Too long for you?? I would cuff them. OR have the tailor hem them, but make sure to ask for the original bottom so they don’t ruin the integrity of the jeans.
I linked another pair by Blank NYC. You could check inseam on those too… Thank you! Erin xo
