Blouses That Cover Arms…Yay!
Are your upper arms a problem area for you? Many women reach out and tell me how they want to cover their arms during the spring and summer months, but worry about getting too hot. I love a sleeveless top, but lately, I want to cover my arms . I haven’t been doing my regular Tracy Anderson workouts so I’m feeling kinda puffy. So, for those that want some arm coverage without adding heat or compromising style… this is the post for you! Keep scrolling…

#1) 9 Seed Blue Blouse
This gauzy 100% cotton top is lightweight and breathable, a beautiful color, and long enough to cover your bottom! I styled it with a pair of flared white jeans and did a front tuck. But you could wear it untucked too. I love the puffed sleeves and cool raw hem detail. You could wear this top all summer long with white jeans, regular denim jeans, or shorts…even as a swim coverup. This was one of the items I took on our trip to Mexico. If you’re wondering what to pack for a beach trip, then check out this post.

#2) Frame Ruched Top
Frame blouses are my absolute favorite…I did an entire post on why I think they’re worth the money here. They’re super high quality and stylish. This top has super flattering ruching on the front to make you look slimmer. I also love the puff sleeves and v-neckline. It’s soft, stretchy, and comfortable. I know this top looks heavy, but you will NOT believe how light it is!

#3) Rails Blue Button Down
Rails is another one of my favorite shirt brands…mostly for button-downs. This shirt has some interesting details like the beautiful color and raw edge hem. I’m wearing it with a pair of white denim shorts by Agolde but you could also wear it with white or regular jeans. I’ve worn it tied in a knot (shown above), untucked, and front tucked.

#4) Free People Pink Lace Top
This Free People blouse is so pretty! I love the beautiful lace fabric and the color is so feminine. Unfortunately, the pink is sold out but it comes in a few other colors (I love the white). The cinched, flare sleeves are so much fun, and cover your arms in style! I paired this top with a pair of white slit hem jeans and wedges but you could also wear it with shorts and sneakers if you like to show off your legs!

#5) White Frame Blouse
This Frame silky blouse has an elegant and feminine puffed shoulder and v-neckline. The curved hem is also very flattering for anyone looking to hide a tummy. I have it on with skinny jeans and sandals but I’ve worn it with pretty much everything! This is a beautiful blouse to dress up too.

#6) Blue Tie-Front Top
This blue, tie-front top by Rails is a great top for summer! The tie-front is an added style detail, and the sleeves are long enough to cover your upper arm. I have a couple of Rails shirts and love how soft, lightweight and breathable the fabrics are. I love this top paired with high-waisted jeans or shorts! This exact style is sold out but I linked a similar striped option that comes in other colors too!

#7) White Rails Button Down
If you follow along on Instagram or here on the blog, you’ve seen this Rails button-down A LOT! It’s super lightweight, breathable, easy to tuck in, leave out, or tie in the front. I’ve styled it with jeans and shorts and it really is the perfect summer top! Plus, your arms are completely covered and you don’t get hot! This is body skimming and quite flattering.

#8) Free People Safari Top
You may remember this look and the next from this post where I shared my summer style uniform. This top by Free People is a cool, safari-style that has front pockets, tie cuffs, and a v-neck. It fits into the utility trend I’ve talked about here and here. I have it on with baggy Moussy Vintage jeans and comfortable sandals. This exact top has been sold out but I found a size on eBay that I linked for you.

#9) White Tee
Now for the easiest summer outfit that will keep your arms covered…a basic white tee! This tee is by ATM but if you’re looking for something more affordable, this $20 Madewell tee is great. If you’re going to do a basic tee like this, I recommend doing a fun pair of jeans to elevate the look!

Thank you for stopping by!
I just turned sixty five. There is a lot of body parts I complain about , but I push mow….no self propelled mower for me. I am always raking, digging in dirt, planting stuff so my arms are decent looking. I don’t always wear sleeveless, but if It do, I am not ashamed of my arms and I do have muscle in my arms.
GREAT tips Rita! Thanks for sharing! xo
