West Texas
West Texas is not a popular destination.
It’s off the beaten path.
WAY off.
I first discovered it, right after my husband, Chris and I, got engaged, about ten years ago,
I knew exactly where I wanted to get married…
The Boat House in Central Park. (We lived in NYC at the time).
That is, until I found out there was a 2 year wait list!
SO… I asked Chris where HE would like to get married.
He said West Texas…
ONE trip to Cibolo Creek Ranch outside Marfa, Texas and I happily okayed that plan.

It is a beautiful, rustic, resort ranch that boasts a celeb clientele including Tommy Lee Jones, Mick Jagger and Bruce Willis.
And, unfortunately is also now known as the place where Justice Antonin Scalia recently died.
My husband has asked me FOR YEARS to go back…
And, I just couldn’t.
I didn’t want to spoil my wedding memories.
This year, I was not only ready.
I was very excited to bring the kiddos!
We all had a BLAST.
We fished, hiked, took a Jeep tour and took naps. I loved it.
I actually felt like we got to rest too.
The place is so isolated and ‘safe’ that you don’t have to worry about your kids every second.
You can let them play.

I love the white tie maxi shirt cover up. How does the sizing run at ASOS?
SMALL. Size UP one full size. I usually order size 4 at Asos. Double check the size chart as a guide. Erin xo
