Strategic Slimming Stripes
I’m sure you have seen jeans with a racing stripe down the side! This style is not only sporty and fresh it is really slimming! I found a pair by Escada recently at Bloomingdale’s that I think you all will love.

Escada Striped Jeans
When you look at the picture above, check out the stripe down the sides of the jeans. Can you see how the stripe tapers in slightly?? It actually creates the illusion that your legs are slimmer, shaving off an inch or more. It’s a little magic trick and I for one, love it!!!
Another thing I love about these Escada jeans, they have an 11” rise, which is quite high and will suck everything in like loose skin or a little extra weight.

Waffle Knit Tee
Everyone needs a casual waffle knit tee and this Free People one is a perfect piece to wear now and transition into fall! It’s lightweight and thin enough to layer under jackets. You can wear it on or off the shoulder. And it’s so soft! I wore it off the shoulder with a pretty lace bralette peeking out.

Clear Strap Shoes
These shoes are by Schutz. I LOVE the clear straps over the top of the foot. It gives them that ‘barely there’ look. These are perfect with jeans for date night, with a dress for event or wedding, or with pretty much anything! They come in black and nude.
Jewelry
I wanted to point out how cool this necklace is! It’s by Bloomingdale’s and sterling silver. You can easily wear it alone or layered with other necklaces.
The earrings I’m wearing are by Alexis Bittar and really nice hoop earrings.
